Glynneath Golf Club

The annual Night Golf event returns on Friday 30th October and bookings are now being taken in the Pro's Shop. The night is hugely enjoyable and is open to both members and non-members, but places are limited.

If you are reading this and wondering what it's all about, then maybe a brief outline of the concept will be enough to capture your interest. Basically, your round will be played as it would during daylight hours - same tees, greens, fairways, hazards, etc. Playing in darkness, you are assisted by the use of coloured glow sticks lining the edge of the fairways, with different colours used to define the green, flagstick, hazards, and even inside the hole. The balls being used are specially formed from clear perspex and hold a glow stick which allows the ball to be clearly seen in the dark. 

The competition is played using a Team Scramble format and is always tremendous fun for all taking part.
