The joining fee is currently waived for a limited time and, with many of the membership options, we can split the fee into 12 monthly instalments*. For your information, our normal annual subscription fees are listed below.

All golf related membership fees include a golf liability insurance premium with Golf Guard.

We warmly welcome all new membership applicants and take great pride in our reputation of being a friendly club. Our membership packages are offered on a full seven day playing basis. Members can normally just turn up at the club and play within the next available space on the 1st tee.

We run a number of different competitions throughout every week of the year and members are encouraged to participate in as many of them as possible. The Club competes in the Glamorgan County League and is represented at 1st Team, 2nd Team, Links, Quartz and Stones levels. The Ladies and Seniors sections also participate regularly in their respective leagues and the Juniors play in the Glamorgan League. Again, members are encouraged to get involved in team golf and to represent Glynneath on the inter-club stage.

2009 was a very successful year at inter-club level. The 1st Team, 2nd Team and Stones team each won their respective leagues. The Quartz side finished as gallant runners-up. 2010 will see the Club compete at Links level for the first time.

*A bar Loyalty Scheme payment of £25 applies to certain memberships (as marked *). The £25 Loyalty Scheme payment is returned to members by way of credit on their loyalty account in the bar. Drinks and selected snacks can be purchased at discounted rates using the Loyalty Card and accounts can be topped up at any time. 

There is no requirement for a proposer or seconder for new applicants, nor is there a requirement to have been a member of another golf club in the past. We feel this makes the process of joining our club much easier for applicants, especially those who have recently moved into the area and may not yet be friendly with any current members.

Our membership base is made up of a wide variety of different playing abilities, ranging from low single figure handicaps, right up to a 28 handicap. So, whatever your playing ability might be, you can be assured that you will feel comfortable and welcome as a member at Glynneath.
